Professor Bruno’s scholarship has been widely cited in the media and within policy circles, combining economic theory and empirical evidence to inform policy making and regulatory work. Her recent work focuses on the role of the US dollar in the transmission of global financial conditions. Professor Bruno studies topics at the intersection of macroeconomics and finance and opened new lines of inquiry into how global financial markets interact with the real economy.
